They fit the brakes you already have
Shimano, SRAM, Magura, Hope, TRP, Formula, Hayes and Tektro. Pick your brand, then your model, and the finder returns the one pad that fits your caliper. Fitment is the question we get more than any other, so it is the first thing on this page.

Three compounds, so you pick the one you ride
Trail is the quietest and beds in fastest. Gravity bites harder in the wet and lasts longer. Sintered has a linear feel at the lever and lasts longest of the three. Same price, same fit, different feel.
03
Quiet once they are bedded in
“Amazing stopping power without being heard. Will buy again.”

Noise is the complaint riders bring us most often about the pads they are replacing. Trail is the quietest pad we sell. Any new pad needs bedding in first, so do twenty or so firm stops from walking pace on a quiet road before you ride them hard.
Three compounds, one price, and one order covers both wheels.

Trail ran cooler than all four Shimano pads it was tested against
Heat is what makes a brake fade halfway down a descent. In a 60-second lab brake test at 35 km/h on one Shimano XT caliper and a 160 mm rotor, Trail peaked lower than every other pad on the rig, and finished the run with slightly more braking force than it started with.
Peak pad temperature, seven pads, same rig
coolest of the seven

Where Shimano won. Over 3,000 wear cycles in the same report, Shimano’s J05A-RF lost less friction material than any of our three compounds, so we do not claim ours last longer than theirs. The report measured no noise, from any pad.
Report 23-0516-01, 2023, to ISO 4210. Run by our pad supplier’s own laboratory, not an independent test house. Heat run: Shimano XT caliper, 160 mm rotor, 60 seconds of continuous braking at 35 km/h. Sintered was not in this report.

Two pairs in every order, which is both wheels
One order does the front and the rear: two pairs for $69.99. That is where most riders work out they have been paying the same money for half as much. Magura MT5 and MT7 calipers take four pads per wheel, so that set is eight pads for $79.99, and it is still one order.

Ian reads the email
“Not only did he respond within half an hour, but I felt bad he did so quickly, considering it was 9:30 p.m. on a stat holiday.”
