SRAM Code-R brakes with upgrade to Lewis 2.3mm 223mm rotors. I am very pleased with the results, my braking power and lever feel now come close to the Maven's on my sons bike and the much more expensive Hayes dominion upgrade my wife recently made......

I'm on a Forbidden dreadnaught, previously running 180mm x 1.85mm rotors on the rear (caliper mounted direct to frame) 200mm x 1.85mm rotors on the front (caliper mounted to 20mm adaptor bolted to my Fox 38 performance). The swap over to the 223mm x 2.3mm Lewis rotors was very smooth, purchased two Loam Goat 43mm adaptors and an extra pair of 6mm bolts (my rear bolts worked fine but my front bolts were too long), I had to be careful to set the rear adaptor as far outboard as possible before tightening down the mounting bolts. I bled the brakes at the same time and put in new pads. The pistons still had good clearance and the 2.3mm rotors fit like a dream, the bite point has moved outwards a small amount (which I really like) and the extra power on steep slabs and loam is a dream come true. My code Rs have contact (bite) point adjustment so if I didn't like the slightly outboard feel I could move it in, but I found it was perfect without any bite point adjustment.

Bought two 220mm rotors a couple of months ago for my Hayes Dominion A4s. I’ve ridden them in the Whistler Bike Park and done multiple long descents around the Sea2Sky with absolutely no issues. I’m around 200 lbs and ride almost every day, check out my IG @patrik_chomist for proof :)

They handle freeride and technical riding really well and can be super bitey with the right brake pad. The rotors are super powerful with the Trail compound LoamGoat brake pads.

The only downside would be the weight, which can easily be reduced by going with a 200mm or 180mm rotor.

I’d definitely buy them again. Hard to beat the price to performance ratio!

Bent a rotor, so after pricing the existing rotor that was on the bike, I ended up upgrading my front to a Lewis 220mm rotor and a new Lewis rear rotor for the price of one! Looking forward to trying LoamGoats pads in the future as well!

Solid Rotor

Wanted to put a thicker rotor I my Dominions to see if it would help with heat and less warping. So far so good and paired up nicely with Loam Goat Gravity pads. The price and quality are great.

Of all the rotors I've had, these were actually straight and need no truing. Been using them for a bit now and am quite happy with their performance.
