Best pad ive ride !!! Hands on!

So far the N-Types are working flawlessly whisper quiet as advertised. Hopefully they’ll last like the original set which gave me 3K flawless kilometres

I weigh in at 200lbs my Transition Relay weighs 45lbs. 200 rotors. All the stopping power I need. No sqeaking and beds in immediately. The shipping is incomparably ti any system I have had before. Plus it took me under 5mins to order and pay ! Wow !

Tried out the new green gravity pads on my ebike and they didn’t disappoint. Nice grab point and. Bedded in nicely and had great modulation and feel to them. Bit when wanted and just the right amount of feel before so. Put in the trail pads on my enduro rig and felt like they were just the right amount of softer grab and power vs the green gravity pads. Will update & further review after 250km to let you know how the wear is.

I ordered the trail (purple) pads with the finned backing for my XT 8120s as the original pads became contaminated and made horrendous noises and no braking power.
Decided to try these pads as they get excellent reviews and the price is a bit less than Shimano OEM pads.

Installation was a bit tricky because the pads and the finned backing aren't attached together like OEM Shimano finned pads are 1 piece, you gotta line them up and make sure the metal clip all stays in place while your placing them into the caliper and getting the caliper pin through.

There was an extra black plastic piece I didn't use, not sure what it was for if anybody can tell me.

So I took sandpaper and sanded down my rotors lightly, isopropyl wiped them afterwards and followed the pad bedding instructions that can be found on this website.

First trail run with these pads and wow they bite so hard.

No weird noises, bite and stopping power is definitely there, so far so good. Did about 12km on these pads and didn't notice anything weird or strange. Just consistent performance and stopping power.

So far so good 👍

Only thing I noticed is the pads seem a bit thinner than OEM Shimano pads so not sure how long they will last if compared to OEM.

Time will tell, but overall im impressed with these purple pads.

PS: if anyone can confirm what the black plastic piece is, that'd be great.

These are awesome. The best stopping I have experienced on my XT setup.

Great product and great customer service. During the purchase process, I unknowingly selected the replacement fins and Ian reached to confirm if that was the product I meant to purchase. I'm glad he did as I just wanted the pads. Received the pads quickly and the bed in process went smoothly. Solid stopping power and my brakes now longer squeal.

Super happy with these on my SLX 4 pots. They feel a lot more responsive and far less fade than the shimano pads. Got a pair for my wife who is notorious for glazing her Shimano pads and even after a few high volume bike park days they are silent and gripping. Would highly recommend!

Spent a little time to bed them in properly before riding with them at RED Mountain, they feel phenomenal, silent and great bite, very confidence inspiring. For the price as well, I'm super impressed.

Great deal on basic OEM pad replacement on my commuter bike. Curious to try other compounds for my trail bikes.

Still fairy low kilometres into these pads, A great feel and no squeal thus far. What I wanted to comment on was great customer service. A delay in Pad preference lead to them sending me a free pair once they arrived. Great to deal with and fast responses. I’ll be following up with some more:)

Good product. No problem bringing my e bike to a stop. Good modulation and control. In my opinion these pads are better than OEM.

Just started using the pads, so its early to tell how long will they last & perform, but so far everything is good. Fast processing times, good communication, the pads seem to be nice and didn't require much bedding in to feel good on a bike.

Work great and they are actually quiet as advertised!

So far so good on my Shimano Icetech rotors! Looking forward to trying them on my bigger Galfer rotors.

Awesome to have choices of pad material, pads provide superior grip from stock Shimano pads and really appreciate info on Loam Goats web site

Update: after speaking with Ian about my experience, he very kindly offered a new set of gravity pads to help mend the situation. He is prompt and very easy to work with. I cant say enough good things about the quality of service.

Original review: Great stopping power but... I tried bedding them in at my local bike park and developed a wicked howling from my front brake. Took them out and saw they were glazed pretty bad. Ive sanded them and now awaiting my next trip to the park to bed them in again and see if it does it again. Here's hoping we're good to go
