The GOAT rotor is a practical braking upgrade for trail, enduro, and e-bike riders who want more heat capacity than a 160mm rotor, available in 180mm and 203mm sizes. It uses standard 6-bolt mounting and pairs with common Shimano, SRAM, Hope, Magura, TRP, Tektro, and Lewis disc brake calipers when the correct adapter is installed. The 203mm size includes spacers compatible with brakes speced for 200mm rotors.

Good product especially for the price

Good product especially for the price. No squeal and the pads get a good bite.

203mm

Mixed results

I bought both a 180mm and 203mm rotor. Both rotors bedded in very quickly and performed just as they should. I really like that the bolts that come with them are 4mm hex so I no longer need to bother with a torx bit.

After a few weekends of riding the 180mm is just fine. But after the very first weekend I had a pretty major problem with the 203mm. It became severely warped and the 2 layers of steel became separated. Making the rotor unusable.

Ian has been great about addressing the problem and making it right. So absolutely 5 stars for service. But until I have tested them for more long term reliability and durability I would have trouble recommending them.

I'm hoping that this was just an isolated incident and some pretty bad luck on my part. I will check back in and adjust my review after they have more miles on them if they hold up.
